Kyra – Ich Liebe Dich Fun Gameplay! Sniping on Favela FFA
Mar 09

It’s been super hot weather. What are some fun activities or ideas to do with young children indoors? The playground are hot. The zoo is super hot, one could only go in the early morning. Reading and puzzle are fun ,but can be repeatedly boring after a while. Renting movies , go out to indoor playgrounds and fast food joints can be costly. What does one do,especially kids that are 3 and 5? Help? Need some ideas.

Arts and crafts. Use what you have in the house already. Cut up old, outgrown clothes to make quilts, if they’re old enough to be allowed to use a needle and thread. (three years old at least). They can cut up old cardboard boxes to build castles with. There are websites online with ideas and instructions.

Put on some music and teach them to dance. Or let them do a workout video. Those aerobics or yoga workouts may be tough for use, but kids have all that energy and they love to try out those yoga positions. If you don’t have any exercise videos, libraries have them for free or a low weekly rental cost.

Home projects. Clean out those closets or the attic with their help. Paint the walls. Get old photos sorted and put into albums. (Looking through old photos was one of my favorite rainy day activities as a kid.)

Bake something special, something that takes time that you don’t normally have time for. Teach them so when they’re older, they’ll be able to do it themselves.

Have them write letters to Grandma, their cousins or anyone they don’t get to see often. They can also make pictures. So nice to get something like this in the mail, even if they can email.

Create a family website and let the kids help design it.

Visit friends. You get adult conversation and the kids get the novelty of playing with other kids and someone else’s toys.

See which museums have free admission. There are kid museums, art museums, history museums, science museums, etc.

Finally, even though it’s super hot. do let the kids go outside for at least brief periods of time.

Public pool, get out the tamborines and cymbols, have them run around the house with stremers, blind mans bluff, pin the tail on the donkey-stuff like that.
