After months of stress, and boredom playing Gears of War 2, Trooper decided to make this funny/some what truthful video on Gears of War 2. The points he makes are extremely valid, and he defends his cases well. Now, before you bash us, know that this is one individual’s opinion. Not everyone on the Gearsopedia staff hates this game, but I think we can all come to an agreement that we enjoyed Gears of War 1 more, a game where you could play for hours and hours on end and not get bored. So this video brings us all the way back to ground zero. The first questions asked when GoW2 came out. What do you like better? GoW1, or 2, and why? Also, if you are going to hate, go ahead. No matter how good something is, there will always be someone who complains. We are no longer blocking people who decide to directly attack Gearsopedia staff members through comments to feel like they are accomplishing something. Go ahead, say whats on your mind, but we would really prefer that you do it in a professional manner. If someone decides to hate big time, we would only hope that either the community will completely ignore the person, or the community will defend us. Thanks!

So I have a presentation for German class, which is part of my university course. I am not very fluent in German and I am sure I have made a lot of grammar mistakes. Would you please look these over and correct me where I am wrong? Thanks. Also, if I used any old/outdated words, would you please let me know?
Heute spreche ich über Straßburg, eine Stadt in Frankreich nahe dem deutschen Rand. Meine Familie lebt dort, weil mein Vater an der Botschaft von Rumänien arbeitet. Ich besuche sie normalerweise während der Feiertage.
Ich beginne mit der Geographie.
Straßburg ist das Hauptstadt von Elsass, das eine Region in Ostfrankreich ist. Straßburg ist auch die siebtgrößte Stadt Frankreichs. Also, in Straßburg kann man den zweiten größten Hafen in Deutschland finden. Die Stadt hat 272000 Einwohner, und ist eine Mischung der französischen und deutschen Kultur. Sie können seine Position auf dem Diagramm sehen.
Ich spreche jetzt über seine Geschichte.
Straßburg wurde auf römischen Siedlungen errichtet.
Während der mittelalterlichen Zeiten war es eine Bischofsstadt.
Die Metropole ist seit dem Zweiten Weltkrieg Symbol für die deutsch-französische Aussöhnung.
Die Region gehörte nach Deutschland für eine Weile, aber 1945 wurde sie nach Frankreich wieder angebracht.
Die Hauptsprache ist Franzosen, aber ein großes Teil der Bevölkerung spricht noch Deutsches, obgleich es ein Dialekt ist.
Kultur und Freizeit
Strasburg ist eine Stadt mit einer reichen Kultur und einem interessanten Nachtleben, mit vielen Pubs, Live-Musikerscheinen und anderen Programmen für junge Leute.
Strasburg ist auch ein guter Ort, zum zu studieren: Die Universität von Straßburg ist in Frankreich, mit über 43000 Studenten das größte! Die Universität anbietet eine große Auswahl von Kursen und ist eine des Besten im Land.
Die Stadt bewirtet auch viele Festivals, die an Musik, Kunst und Film angeschlossen werden.
Die elsässische Metropole hat auch viele Museen, Theater und Parks. Ein beispiel ist das Museum für moderne und zeitgenössische Kunst.
Sehenwurdigkeiten
Die reiche Geschichte der Stadt hat viel interessanten Anblick gelassen. Das berühmteste ist das Strasburger Munster, ein römisch-katholisches Gotteshaus. Er hat auch eine astronomische Uhr im südlichen Teil des Gebäudes.
Die Brucke der zwei ufer ist auch interessant, weil es eine Brücke ist, die Frankreich mit Deutschland anschließt.
Es gibt auch einige Paläste und der Stadtteil ‘La Petite France’, welches ein Stadtteil mit traditionellen Häusern und Gaststätten für Touristen ist.
Zuletzt sehen wir, welche europäischen Institutionen in Straßburg sind.
Möglicherweise ist das wichtigste der Europarat. Der Europarat ist ein Platz für Debatten über allgemeinen europäischen Fragen. Sein Ziel ist ökonomischer und Sozialfortschritt. Es gibt auch das Europäische Parlament und andere europaische Institutionen.
Dieses war meine Beschreibung von Straßburg.
